The Making Peace With Pain One-on-One Program is a six month process to change the way you think and feel about your body, yourself, your life and your health.

What can you expect from a Making Peace with Pain coaching session?
My sessions are deeply peaceful and nurturing. We'll work through the materials for the relevant module of the program, but also take time to check in with how the previous module's work is feeling for you, whether you're struggling with any concepts or practices, how you're finding your pain and whether you've been able to apply the principles to your daily life.
Each session will leave you feeling like you've encountered the deep stillness that I know resides at the heart of every soul, and you'll slowly be re-acquainted with your true self, as we unpack what's been piled on top of her and slowly smooth out all the twists and knots, heal the broken bones and sooth the cuts and bruises she's been living with.
We will really be diving deep into your thinking and your beliefs about yourself, your pain, your body and your life. It's in these deeply held beliefs that we find where you're believing something out of alignment with your true, inner spirit. And it's this misalignment that creates deep physical tension and, eventually, chronic pain.
We'll also be looking at fear, stress and your ability to relax. Learning how we scare and stress ourselves, and then learning to turn that off, is a powerful healer.
Each session should leave you feeling calm, armed with tools and exercises to help move you forward in your healing and in less physical pain than when we started.
What will be expected of you while you're doing this program?
This program's success depends on your commitment to following the exercises, practices and materials that you'll be given in each session. These will require a small amount of time each day, and greater amounts of time on the first day or two after your session, as you complete the reading and worksheets for that module of the program.
Foundational to the program is incorporating a daily guided meditation into your schedule. This is best undertaken at the start of the day, and all the better if you can fit it in at the end of your day also. You'll be given a new meditation to listen to each session, but as the weeks go by, you can begin to choose to alternate your favourite of the meditations with the current module's meditation.
Most importantly, you're part in your own healing starts with an openness to see your body, your health and your thinking differently. Everything you've done up till now, has gotten you where you are. I encourage you to be brave and open to exploring whether doing, thinking and acting differently might allow your body to heal and your life to improve beyond what you can every imagine.
The program includes:
- A guided program to transform the way you live and foster the internal environment your body needs to heal
- 6 modules, each with several lessons, delivered over 6 months approximately fortnightly
- Each lesson contains a teaching video or written teaching materials, worksheets and exercises
- Fortnightly sessions of 60 minutes, via Skype/Zoom
- Email support in between sessions
- Recorded meditations for each module, yours to keep forever
- Monthly live Q and A calls, recorded and made available afterwards, including the opportunity to submit questions beforehand if you can't make the live call
